Apollo Gardens

Carrfour Supportive Housing, a developer out of Miami, has submitted site plans to the City of Titusville for the property at 2727 Demaret Drive. They are proposing a three story building with 84 one-bedroom units. The zoning supports this high density proposal but the City’s comprehensive plan requires access on a collector or arterial road – Demaret Drive is neither!
Residents on Demaret and Turnesa filed an injunction against both Apollo Gardens and City of Titusville, asking for the project to be put on hold until there is a proper explanation of why the City is breaking their comprehensive plan and code.

In response:

1.  The City of Titusville and Apollo Gardens has taken action by filing a motion for dismissal, knowing their funding for Apollo gardens will be lost if they wait until January 2025. The date for the motion hearing is December 12, 2023.
2. Apollo Gardens has initiated a lawsuit against two Royal Oak residence under the Fair Housing Act, alleging “discrimination against individuals with disabilities”. The hearing date is still to be determined.
